It's My Birthday AND Congratulations "King" James!

          Don't you just LOVE birthdays?  Me too!  They are so....personal.  Today is mine and I Thank God for letting me live to see another year! He's not just good....HE'S GREAT! and GREATLY TO BE PRAISED!  I was six or seven in this pic wearing a denim jumper and button up shirt that Virginia made just for me!  She made lots of our clothes back then.  The heart shaped embellishment afront the pocket is cut from animal print pleather - her personal touch, no doubt - and check out that shirt...I'd wear it today! Gurl was talented!  Don't know if you can see my "peace" earrings but I loved those bad boys! 

STILL love me some "Fro"!

          Yesterday our youngest son was crowned 'Homecoming King' at the football game which they won.....in good fashion!  His first name is James hence the phrase "King James" coined by his teammates.  Thing is, my husband and I were not there for the crowning...can you imagine?  James wanted to "surprise" us with the announcement of his candidacy but FORGOT to tell us to arrive early for the coronation.  We were actually already in the campus area but were piddlin' around waiting for kick-off time.  CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE?  Okay....I LOVE my boyz but this would have NEVER happened with a girl...you feel me?  CONGRATULATIONS J.B., the 3rd of "God's Three" and as soon as I get some coronation pics...
