But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. I Corinthians 15:20
Thank God for Jesus! He is risen!
Hope all had a Happy Resurrection Sunday 2012!
I'm finding myself more and more drawn to retro and vintage fashion. The moment I saw this pattern I knew that I wanted to make it.
I found the cardigan fabric, a ribbed knit, on clearance (of course!) at JoAnn Fabrics. The fabric for the top is a textured silky print from Virginia's stash and the skirt fabric, some type of rayon (challis?) woven that I've had for a thousand years :-) from FashionFabricsClub.
It was my intent to have this project done in time for my 50th birthday which I celebrated last year but of course it didn't happen.
The weather has been so unpredictable lately however I knew that I could get some pics in today for it was a cool and windy 60 something degrees.
Okay....so I got a little picture happy, what can I say! I love this project!
Don't you just love these colors together or is it just me? I look forward to mixing and matching these pieces with other pieces!
Have a Great week! Peace and Blessings!
Happy Easter and looooove your outfit, you look fabulous.
