......but certainly not my LAST!!!!!!
SEW LITTLE TIME! However like any other woman who is dilligent about keeping her word, I knew that once I had entered I would have to finish. All I can say is.......THANK YOU LORD - We did it!!!!!
I like this dress because it is a little "vintagey" - if you know what I mean. The dress itself is rather simple to make. I couldn't decide whether to go sleeveless, mid-length sleeve or cap sleeve.....I love em' all. I knew however that I could be more creative with the sleeveless view so I went with it. I will be making another version of this dress, believe me. It was a bit of a challenge with having to do everything else....you know - LIFE and then trying to put my own style on it for the contest. Uh huh.....gotta get it right...or at least do my best! I was afraid I was not going to get it photographed in time however Virginia's Sew Blessed Oldest Granddaughter stepped up and made it happen. And step up she did! Thanks Dree! Now I just have to enter it before the contest deadline! Uhm......yeah........SO MUCH TO DO.....SEW LITTLE TIME!
In spite of feeling a little pressed for time, at times, it was a lot of fun! AND a great motivator! Of course I wouldn't mind winning but more importantly I have a new dress. A new LITTLE BLACK DRESS that is! Check it out and let me know what you think! How might have YOU have styled it differently?
THANKS FOR THE VISIT......BE BLESSED!!!!!!

Rear view. Just the right amount of wind. Looks like I'm a little unzipped - you think my photographer saw that? |
I love the dress and your three looks almost as much as I love the preview of your black shoe collection.

ReplyDeleteSmokin' hot!!! You look fantastic in all three dresses. That organza "jacket" is just lovely with the dress but the casual look is very nice, too. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you again ( even after commenting on PR and voting!) how fabulous your LBD is! I just love the way you have styled it, and that organza jacket? Oh, good grief! It's all perfect!
