Not Just A Blog About Sewing

I am new to the blog world. I wanted to wait until I completed a garment before I made a post. Then it dawned on me, this is not just a blog about sewing but about being blessed as well - that's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it!! Thus began this post. To catch up, our oldest son graduated from college in December 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. HOORAAAY!!!!! Our middle son, just this past Friday, received an award that will pay for tuition, books, room and board, etc. for his senior year in college. DOUBLE HOORAAAY!!! Finally, our youngest son will complete his first year of college in a few weeks and as a result, received two awards - one of which was for making the Dean's List. TRIPLE HOORAAAY!! Thank you Lord!

Now......on to sewing. OMGoodness, I had an outfit planned for each event and needless to say not one of them panned out. In any case, here is what I'm currently working on.


To be made from this gorgeous fabric. Really these photos don't do it any justice. I've GOT to get a new camera! I do remember purchasing this on clearance at Jo Ann fabrics, the problem is, I don't remember when.
