The cool after the rain is the kind of weather we're experiencing today we experienced yesterday.
The last time I wore this dress it was just dress and sandals but because of the weather (not the season)....not "tah-day" (in my Ray Romano voice).
This is one of those quick projects that comes in handy when you've got a
lot of running around to do and want to wear a cute little, comfortable
dress to do it in.
The argyle pattern is what caught my attention about this fabric and
once I touched it, well...you know the rest.
It's a soft cotton
blend with a whole lotta stretch and washes up quite nicely. "The fabric of our lives"!!!...for real!
I like this pattern. This dress is very straight forward and the bonus: not a single closure. There are a few other pieces of this pattern that I'd be interested in making.
The jumpsuit for sure and the knit top that is View A (then I would have completed all three pieces of the pattern) but for now this pattern is tucked away in the "completed patterns" file.
Until next time, PEACE and BLESSINGS!!!!!
Another beautiful dress. Looks fantastic on you. Happy sewing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maw!

ReplyDeleteAngela....you can...you can!

DeleteLove the colors and print of this dress - so classic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Faye!
DeleteAren't these the most useful sorts of dresses in the wardrobe - most of our life is practical, after all. It is sort of reminscent of pinafore dresses that used to be worn - until we got all jeans and corporate. I like it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz! Yes...so practical!
DeleteYour dress looks fab! I love printed fabric and yours is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is also very nice. I really like the Simplicity patterns, I think they fit very good. The only difficulty for me is the seam allowance... we don't have that in German patterns so I always have to remember that... :)
Have a great start into the new week.
(And please excuse my bad English... it's just my English from school... :))
